I've been using this service through the beta - great tool. Results are great - surprising what the big 3 miss sometimes. Recommend trying it as your homepage for a week.

Good pitch. The best idea out of this is the point system for with Visa. At first I was annoyed thinking this was just a Digg/Google mashup but in the end I give it thumbs up. Affiliate marketing combined with User contribution = Win IMO. Just look at the comments above.

This combo search engines seams to have really moved search to a new level. No more going from one engine to another - 1 stop searching. Pretty cool.

It's just as good as any other search engine, because at its core it includes the big three. I suggest you at least give it a shot and see if it strikes your fancy. http://scour.com/invite/madcow8pi If you plan to rack up on points, use this invite and get a jump of 50-200 points to start with.

Furthermore, a business associate of mine joined this shitlicious pile of poo and I got peppered by automatic e-mails originating from his g-mail account imploring me to sign up. When I asked what the hell was going on, he had no idea. Makes Facebook look reasonable. I agree with Frank, what a crock of crap.

I hope Manish Q's comment was sarcasm. "why this hasn't been done before." ? How is this different from META search engines that have been (and are still) around since the mid 90s? Even newer meta sites have had similar search result layouts.

This is a complete rip off of iRazoo.com, which launched 2 years ago. iRazoo had coverage on CNN doing the exact same thing.

People search in many ways. This search is more powerful. It is more comprehensive and above all it has a wide covearge encompassing all. It is showering blessings in the form of dollars to the society. What a wonderful service!!!!!

isn't this (sort of) similar to Mahalo? This model has an algorithm that is easily duplicated and kinda base. I would put my money into those search companies that are tweaking the genetic and evolutionary algorithms for the "search of the fittest", when the code actually begins mutating itself and rewriting itself to return the best results, thats the real deal. This social crap is just all fun and games and so fleeting. The "science" of it all is where VCs are hedging their bets.
