Proud member of Erepublik, and loving every minute of it. The beta version has been awesome, and we all know that v1 is going to be great. You can really get immersed in this game. It makes politics fun and you get to do things you never thought possible.

The game is VERY buggy and the playerbase is just fucking stupid. Admins act if they dont care. Even if you send in Bugs you dont here from them for like 2 weeks, not even to say those bugs arent fixed. Definatly a NOGO

It's a crappy game with very little to do, and very little that the players can do without the admins breathing down their backs. No renaming of cities and countries, no options for revolt or governmental system, and no justice system. The game system is inherently flawed and it's become a popular tradition to ruin a nation's economy by printing billions if you lose an election. The admins are horrible. They're incredibly lazy, and ban people for reasons such as insulting a country's founder. Erepublik has no free speech, and you can be banned for the slightest insult, but only if it's in english or another major language. The turks have displayed anti-semetic and neo-nazi sentiments several times in their own language, but have not been banned.

I love this game. Been playing since January and even being a simple worker I enjoy Erepublik :). Also we have a lot of things to do. "Only limited by your imagination" -> This sentence is true and if you don't believe me just check out Portugal and see it for yourself. Also Iam a very dedicated Erepublik wiki user :). By the way I want a T-Shirt :D

Hmm, the game could certainly do with improvements, but please don't forget that it is still BETA. And as said, it is a social networking game, so many/most activities take part between players.

Could be an interesting game, but the "economic simulation" part of it is a joke, unless you live somewhere where decimal points mysteriously disappear off of your money overnight. Great way to scam some investors though, gotta give them credit for that.

The admin team is not savvy to destructive emergent game play. I hope they are taking good notes from the Beta fiascoes concerning multi-logging, inconsistent behavior standards enforcement and extreme corrections to the economic models. MMOs convert player time and creativity into virtual assets; remove those assets arbitrarily at your peril.

It is not he only political strategy game of it's kinda and the currency is at the whim of real currency. Still entertaining and all. If you enjoy the political and economic strategy but want to step it up some try eve online. If your looking for less of a time commitment this game is fine.

This game was a load of fun initially, it truly was a social-political simulation. Now however it is a pre-school simulation, with admins wiping away the tears of certain groups, playing favorites, and not taking responsibility for their own broken game. They rarely address reported bugs. And they ban people for no reason while not banning confessed nazis and proponents of hitler's genocide.

The greatest part of the game is the free interaction between the people. Recently, reflecting reality and how nasty people can really get, some discussions have been very unfriendly. Rather than letting this happen, the moderating staff has muzzled the voices of many leaders, and to the dismay of the community members, the muzzling has not been consistent or fair. This project has a great deal of potential but the staff doesn't seem like they're in control. I think they have expanded far to quickly for them to handle. With a year of polish, Erepublik will be ready for the big times.

What I really dislike about this game is how freely the bigotry is flowing in it. The Turks decided to eradicate the Israeli, based on religion alone. At the same time the economic model sucks - its totally unrealistic, and there is no way to punish the massively corrupt players like Onchre!

Wow, I've tried to play this game but it is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!! They're predicting 2 million users once they go live but then they're counting 30,000 right now when only 2,000 of those are alive/active. The forums are filled with racism and hate. The admins are uneven and arbitrary in their moderation and the game seems to have been coded by monkeys. Somebody is going to lose a lot of money with this game 2/10.

While a lot of fun, the admins have shown themselves to favor players who buy in game currency with real life money in disputes, choosing to intervene in a player made economic crisis in Turkey while refusing to do the same when it happened in Greece a month earlier. Voicing criticisms of such admin behavior results in a temporary ban.

The economic model is horrible and the numerous bugs are never adressed. The admins allow antisemitism and racism to run rampant in the game and even sides with some of the worst xenophobes in the game solely due to the fact that they are willing to pay actual money. It's a terrible game and any investors should try to stay as far away as possible!

I've been playing this game for 4 months now. At first it was enjoyable but then i saw what happened in Turkey and what the mods did. Shame on you, picking and choosing who to punish/ban based on who buys real world gold! I have to say that I will take my time and friends elsewhere if this continues to happen.

Administrators are usually "too busy working on V1" to reply to emails, revert errors or even answer simple questions that its user-base ask. Quite simply a joke. I would rather invest my money in my own feces than this poor excuse for a "simulator"

I've only been playing for about a month and was enjoying it until I saw how the admins could negate any actions the players take on a biased whim with no forewarning whatsoever. As this pretty much defeats the entire purpose of the game, I have to wonder why bother playing it at all? Add in inconsistent and biased bannings and we have a very poorly run game indeed. Please shape up before other players get disgruntled as well.

My daughter plays this game and yesterday the forums were hijacked by 4Chan hackers who posted pornographic material. As a web site developer, the vulnerabilities utilized are well known and any administrator worth his salt should have known better than to allow such things to happen. I'm appalled. The developers are both incompetent and irresponsible.

this game had the potential to be something special when I first started playing it, but any fun it may have held has been systematically destroyed by the game's administrators, who have shown strong bias against people who have not splashed out real life money for fake gold. Their entire business model seems to be keeping the few happy at the expense of the many, and I fail to see how this game can make money by excluding thousands of potential customers just because they already have a few. Not to mention all the racism and hatred that runs rampant throughout the game, and seems to be actively encouraged by admin discrimination.

"Erepublik's business model is based mainly on virtual goods sold to users; internal advertising from users and external advertising to brands." - The virtual goods on sale in this game is "gold" something which you can earn easier and for free by inviting friends, or as i later found out, just inviting yourself with multiple accounts, something which the administrators seem very incapable of stopping. The game is also so popular that it has no advertisements at the moment. Continued below....

This game is great if you don't mind a two hour downtime during peak playing hours (daily) and arbitrary administrators who selectively support those who donate real money. In the short end this is good business sense, in the long term it makes the majority of the users nervous about the stability of the game, thereby limiting profits in the long term.
