Geni is a superb online family tree where you get to involve your extended family in creating an accurate and evolving family history. It has nothing to do with networking with your parents, ugh! Bang a few people into Geni, then auto-mail them, and they bang even more details in - fab.

Right on, pull this pitch and fire the CEO for allowing his CTO to do the pitch. There is a reason for the techies not being the face of the company in general. Second, the family social site is a little dumb if you ask me. Maybe it'll keep me from accidentially banging my second cousin. I'll give it a thumbs up for the anti-incest engine capabilities.

I agree with those that say geni.com is an excellent website for creating a free collaborative geneology tree. I also agree with those that say this pitch does nothing to reflect that excellence. Not only is it under time by a precious 35 seconds but it doesn't stress the main unique aspect of the site, the geneology tree, and instead tries to hype the buzz phrase "social network". No , No, No guys...trust me, gear the marketing toward the *collaborative* genealogy tree and compare to the expensive packages and websites that do the same and you have your sales angle. That's one entrepreneurs perspective any way. Much success,
