Great site, not a great pitch. Next time say "Good Reads" before saying"Amazon" when discussing where people go to get their reccomendations!

Sounds like a good idea for a facebook app The mention of using Amazon just makes an investor go get more stock in Amazon/

Jesus, get some traffic make a little money but this is not a VC style investment pitch. Ok Nerds, here's a little clue. Revenue models in which you pass the relationship on to an entity that does the same thing, i.e. Amazon is stupid. Collect your Affliate revenue, buy yourself a car with the money and drive out to the bunny ranch and get laid.

when Kindle grows up this site is dead. Who do you think has a better marketing machine, GoodReads or Amazon. An interactive Kindle below $100 will kill this idea. Invest at your own risk.

I casually decide to read books all the time... This isn't a business its a widget for - as someone said above - facebook, myspace, etc
