Talk more about your product and less about your company. Talking about your patents in an elevator pitch is not going to get someone excited about your product.

Avoiding piracy is nice. But: 1. Don't read off a piece of paper. It's not that hard to memorize 1 minute's worth of speech, especially if it is about the business you presumably spend all your waking hours on. If you can't remember enough to talk about it in an elevator, it's not an elevator pitch. 2. Don't put up a pitch if you can't talk about what your product actually does. If we need to sign an NDA to find out anything about your product, it's too young to be pitched to a general audience.

Isnt it some form of SEC violation to say "investments are welcome" an investor must be qualified as to avoid scams.
